Don Hooton, Taylor’s father, established a foundation to teach youth about risks linked with steroids. He also uses slideshow presentations in order to explain that these medicines may cause such negative effects, as diabetes, heart diseases, liver disorders, etc.
Don Hooton tries to teach young people about dangerous risks connected with application of steroids. But he realizes that it is difficult. He claims that many young individuals apply doping products. When their friends see that they become stronger and more muscular, they desire to look like them. They follow their examples in order to change appearance and have more endurance.
Unluckily, some parents think that their children are free from steroid use. Some of them believe that their daughters don’t apply steroids because these medicines are indicated to add muscles and body weight in general. But according to certain sources, girls also apply steroids. They administer these products in order to lose fat. Some parents don’t know that anabolic steroids are also used to lower fat deposits. That’s why grown-ups also should be educated about effects of steroids. Moreover, several parents believe that their children don’t take steroids because these products are expensive. But it is enough to have 20-500 dollars in order to buy steroids for a cycle.
It is affirmed that each16th high school student applies steroids. But this opinion is mistaken. Every 16th high school student admits to administering performance-enhancing drugs.   But many young people hide that they apply these drugs.
