Fans of baseball and many other individuals seem to be indignant by results of voting for the Hall of Fame. Certain great players have not entered the Baseball Hall of Fame. It is quite naturally that you also ask why they have not been elected. Under rules of voting, those that have manifested amazing baseball abilities and contributed to their teams evidentially should be elected. It goes without saying that such baseball players, as Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, Mark McGwire and certain other persons have shown splendid skills and achievements while playing professionally. Why aren’t they in the Baseball Hall of Fame?
Many voters claim that they will never support those that have ever been linked to anabolic steroids and/or other related medicines. Dopers must be sanctioned. Future generations should realize that they will never really succeed, if they administer performance-enhancing drugs.
What would you do, if you were a voter? Would you support steroid users?
In fact, voters never possess full information about admitted and suspected dopers. You can’t prove that Roger Clemens has actually used performance-enhancing drugs. A lot of persons have suspicions but there is no any steroid evidence. How may voters refuse to support him? Are they sure that he has applied anabolic steroids and other prohibited medicines? –No, they aren’t. That’s why it is wrong to keep Roger Clemens out of the Baseball Hall of Fame only because of suspicions.
While some voters are ready to support suspected dopers, they claim that they will never vote for an admitted doper. However it seems to be fair, let review the situation better! Have anabolic steroids played any great role in success of certain baseball player? For example, if even Roger Clemens has taken performance-enhancing drugs, it is possible to convince anyone that he has succeeded not because of steroid use. Extraordinary accomplishment of this prominent baseball player have been shown before his alleged usage of steroids. According to some statements, Roger Clemens has applied steroids since 1998 and then in 2000 and 2001. But the most amazing accomplishments have been done by him before 1998. So, no one can affirm that anabolic steroids have helped Roger Clemens to succeed in professional baseball. That’s why he should enter the Hall of Fame.
Furthermore, why are a lot of individuals inclined to blame only dopers? Isn’t it the society that presses sportspersons to start applying steroids and other related remedies?
