Did Arnold Schwarzenegger use high dosages of steroids?

Arnold Schwarzenegger used anabolic steroids. These drugs helped him to have success. The prominent bodybuilder acknowledged that he succeeded because of these drugs significantly. But he also confirmed that other competitive bodybuilders used these products too. The famous bodybuilder was aware of the fact that all elite athletes and bodybuilders administered anabolic steroids. If Arnold Schwarzenegger had not used performance-enhancing drugs, other bodybuilders would have had unfair advantage over him.
However the famous bodybuilder admitted to application of steroids, he never apologized. Administration of these drugs was not forbidden, when Arnold Schwarzenegger competed. Usage of steroids and other related preparations didn’t represent any problem in bodybuilding during that time.
Arnold Schwarzenegger affirmed that he didn’t know about risks related to application of these medicines. But he also added that earlier bodybuilders didn’t use enhanced doses like current bodybuilders.  That’s why it was not dangerous to administer these medications.
Nowadays it is important to consider that athletes and bodybuilders administer very enhanced dosages that may have negative impact on health. Application of enhanced quantities usually leads to severe permanent side reactions. That’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger is against application of steroids for athletic purposes. Dosages that were administered by the prominent bodybuilder were lower by 20 times than those used by current bodybuilders. That’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger worked together with International Federation of Bodybuilders against administration of doping products in competitive bodybuilding.
