Center of large doping ring busted in Norway was located in Trondheim

Norwegian law enforcement officers have busted a huge doping ring. Over 10 individuals related to illicit actions were arrested. Six persons were sentenced to jail.
According to news of the newspaper Dagens N?ringsliv (DN), the doping ring was established in Trondheim. DN provided own investigation connected with illegal sale of anabolic steroids in Norway. Police officers investigated the case.
It is suggested that a secret center is in Trondheim. It administrates illicit sale of doping products and money laundering.
The arrested persons were linked with bodybuilding, fitness and health industries in Norway. Certain persons were arrested at their homes; others – in business offices, parking lots and tram stops.
Police officers suppose that certain individuals are masked by the names of Guru and Karma.
Robert Eilertsen is included in those who have been arrested. He is an operator and editor of a fitness blog. This person coached well-known athletes within football, boxing, handball, etc.
It is believed that Eilertsen and some other persons have provided dangerous performance-enhancing drugs to Norwegian youth during numerous years.
About 60 police officers were involved in raids. The raids resulted in 11 arrests.
Since the investigation is not finished yet, police officers report nothing about their further actions.
Norwegian customs officers and tax authorities assisted the investigation.
Numerous computers and certain documents were seized during raids of homes, business officers, cars, etc.
Eilertsen and Gunnar Strand Jacobsen, another arrested man, have denied their connections with doping products. Jacobsen is the owner of Kaliber Gym in Trondheim, one of the most prominent gyms in Norway. Jacobsen was personal trainer of sportspersons that acquired prizes. He coached athletes that attended to different sports. Jacobsen is considered to be a high-qualified nutrition expert.
The raid was called “Operation Gilde”.
Eilertsen and Jacobsen are charged with sale of doping medicines and money laundering.
